Disney Water Parks

Disney’s two water parks offer the best of both worlds – the same combination of imagination and customer service that make the four theme parks remarkable, and a way to conveniently alleviate the intense heat of Central Florida! Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park are two of the world’s premier water parks, as both have amazing rides, children’s areas, and, of course, water attractions such as lazy rivers and one-of-a-kind wave pools!

Admission into the water parks is included in some Park Hopper® ticket packages and annual passes. However, at Orlando Fun Tickets, we have your exclusive savings on water park tickets. You can purchase one-day water park admission to either Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park or Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park for $ 37.28 for adults 10 and up and $ 30.94 for children ages 3-9. Hours vary depending on the season, so be sure to check those online or at your Walt Disney World® Resort hotel prior to going. And, during the summer months, both parks fill up fast. Both have capacities that are much smaller than those at the theme parks, so Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park usually shuts down due to capacity first, usually by noon each day. Also, each park does close for approximately two to three months during the off-season each year to undergo rehab, so be aware of this if you are visiting from November through February (but one of the two parks will always be open).

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park opened in 1995 and has a winter wonderland theme that is carried throughout. The concept of the park is that a freak winter storm hit Central Florida, but then the temperature raised and all of the snow and ice began to melt, leaving unbelievable rides on the “slopes.” In fact, there is even an authentic chair lift right in the middle of the park that takes passengers up to the top of the mountain where all of the real fun begins! Guests at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park Water Park can expect some of the best rides of any water park in the world, including Summit Plummet, the world’s tallest free-fall slide! You can read all about the incredible rides and attractions here in our section all about Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park Water Park may be all about a freak snow storm, but Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is centered around just the opposite – a raging typhoon! The scene for this water park is a small resort village that has just been ravaged by the storm, and the result is 56 acres of huge waves and thrilling water attractions. The center of Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is the massive wave pool that contains almost three million gallons of water. But just how massive is it? No matter which water park you decide to cool down with at the Walt Disney World® Resort, you are sure not to be disappointed!
